About Wesleyan College

Wesleyan draws a wonderfully eclectic mix of women – about 700 in all – from across the United States and more than twenty countries, bringing to campus a multitude of backgrounds and ethnicities. Wesleyan students choose to study here because they want to test their limits. The bar is set high because our students demand it. First for Women isn’t just a claim to fame - it’s a philosophy that explains why Wesleyan women continue to make history today.

Dr. Selke Joins Wesleyan College as EMBA director

January 14, 2020

Wesleyan College welcomes Dr. Seth David Selke as the Executive MBA program director and assistant professor of business. Dr. Selke has served the College as adjunct professor of business since 2018, developing the online curriculum for the business degree and creating courses on the LMS platform. Prior, he served as director of training for M3V eLearning, Indianapolis, Indiana; an assistant online program director and instructor for The Art Institute of Pittsburgh; the general manager of a restaurant and wholesale food distribution company, Connersville, Indiana; and as adjunct instructor for Ivy Tech Community College in Richmond, Indiana. Having served on many academic committees, Dr. Selke is a highly sought after conference presenter and conductor of online workshops.

Dr. Selke earned his doctor of business administration degree from Northcentral University, San Diego; his master of science in management degree from Indiana Wesleyan University; and his bachelor of science in business administration degree from Indiana University East.

Dr. Selke said, “Now serving our 35th cohort of EMBA students, Wesleyan’s program has proved to be of great benefit to our graduates. There is real value in investing in yourself, your company, and your career. We are proud that our graduates experience a healthy return on their investment, having earned career and salary advancement soon after graduation.”

Wesleyan’s Executive MBA program, designed for mid- to seniorlevel managers, requires at least five years of leadership experience. While taking ownership of their futures and advancing their careers, Middle Georgia women and men professionals enrolled in the program are provided opportunities to interact with other mid- to senior-level managers in fields such as financial services, healthcare administration, government administration, manufacturing, general management, and business owners.

The flexible schedule means classes meet every other weekend over 18 months, allowing students to continue growing in their careers while pursuing an advanced business degree. Students spend 10 to 14 days studying outside the United States under an intense itinerary. Past trips included visits to major companies in China, Russia, Austria, Hungary, Dubai, Italy, and the Czech Republic. The program is currently enrolling for fall semester.
