There has never been a better time to consider advancing your degree.

COVID-19 has caused many of us to think differently about our futures, including the future of our careers. Now is a great time to invest in your future by earning an advanced degree. Despite your undergraduate or graduate degrees and no matter your current field of employment, a master's degree in industrial-organizational psychology will improve your understanding of human behavior in work settings and how to inspire a healthy and positive work environment.

IO psychology is a fast growing field that applies psychological research to the workplace in order to make organizations more productive and profitable, and also to improve the well-being of employees. Students learn how jobs are defined and staffed within organizations, how teams work together, how to increase employee satisfaction, how to reduce conflicts and problems, and how to implement management techniques to boost company performance.

At Wesleyan, we pride ourselves on small classes and personal interactions with faculty. Our 18-month fast track program combines online learning and engaging on-campus classes for student flexibility. On-campus classes meet from 5:30-8:15PM on Tuesdays during fall semester and on Tuesdays and Thursdays spring semester. All other work is conducted online. Our large classrooms make it easy to allow at least six feet of distance between students. Professors are committed to helping students who move to the Macon area find suitable employment with one of our local business partners.

Earning a degree in industrial-organizational psychology can help you learn the skills to lead, coach, and inspire others. Our affordable program can help prepare you for the next step in your career. Wesleyan College invites you to ZOOM a virtual information session about graduate programs on Tuesday, August 4 at 6:00PM (RSVP: www.wesleyancollege.edu/graduate).

About Wesleyan College

Wesleyan draws a wonderfully eclectic mix of women – about 700 in all – from across the United States and more than twenty countries, bringing to campus a multitude of backgrounds and ethnicities. Wesleyan students choose to study here because they want to test their limits. The bar is set high because our students demand it. First for Women isn’t just a claim to fame - it’s a philosophy that explains why Wesleyan women continue to make history today.
