High School Students can Earn Free College Credit at Wesleyan

Move On When Ready (MOWR), Georgia’s dual enrollment program, allows students to “jump start” their postsecondary education at Wesleyan College and earn free college credit during the high school years. Students who participate in MOWR will receive high school credit and college credit simultaneously while taking approved classes on campus. The program is open to male and female 11th or 12th grade students from eligible public, private, and home schools who meet Wesleyan’s admission requirements and are accepted to the College. Tuition and books are free.

High achieving female high school juniors and seniors may start their college careers early at Wesleyan full-time. Students may choose to live at home or on campus during their time in the MOWR program. These students may take any MOWR approved courses and enjoy all of the benefits of being a full-time student.

Wesleyan’s MOWR Academy is a part-time opportunity offered to high school junior and senior males and females. MOWR Academy includes free tutoring every Wednesday, free 2-day college prep orientation, access to Wesleyan’s financial aid literacy lab, 24-hour access to the newly renovated library. A discounted dinner meal plan is optional.

About Wesleyan College

Wesleyan draws a wonderfully eclectic mix of women – about 700 in all – from across the United States and more than twenty countries, bringing to campus a multitude of backgrounds and ethnicities. Wesleyan students choose to study here because they want to test their limits. The bar is set high because our students demand it. First for Women isn’t just a claim to fame - it’s a philosophy that explains why Wesleyan women continue to make history today.
